Transit is industrial in venue, swanky in decor, and unbeatable in its DJs. International turntablists spin salsa, house and electro across the 1,500 sq-ft dance floor to an appreciative crowd. Isolated lounge areas like the Oval Bar, Light Bar, Mezzanine, and a swank VIP room give you a chance to take a break from the action. Transit provides a hip hangout for sidesteppers serious about beats and fashion. Touring DJs come through on Thursday nights, making Transit a good pre-weekend destination. The crowd has seen better days, and the isolated location can be a problem, but the scene in the VIP room is still quality, and the music selection can't be criticized.
