You may think you’ve walked underground into a grotto that serves liquor, but it’s just the Suite Lounge in Old Town. The dim lights and candles on tables and along the cave-like walls give it a romantic glow, and a few areas covered off with curtains have seats and tables if you want a little privacy. Don’t mind people-watching? Tables and leather seats line the walls separated by small fountains. Curtains are used instead of doors in the bathrooms. Which can be a little strange because it feels like you’re peeing in a dressing room. Suite Lounge looks high class, with three plasma screen T.V.s, two bars and a drink menu including martinis, margaritas, mojitos, even plum sake. But don’t let the classy menu fool you – look on the shelves above the side of the bar and see the 40s of Miller High Life. Nice.
