Spin knows sex sells. We can’t think of any other reason why the gay dance club would have shower contests on Fridays. What makes a shower the best shower in public? That’s up to the audience; they decide the winner. If showering in public isn’t your thing, stop in on Wednesdays for dollar drink night (get there early, it gets packed) or Saturdays for the drag show. The large oval bar is right at the entrance of Spin. It’s nice to see a bar that likes to get right to the point. VJs broadcast music videos on several T.V.s surrounding the bar, and tables are on a raised level overlooking the bar a bit, making it easy to scope out the hotties. Even though Spin is labeled a gay dance club, the crowd includes gay people, straight people, and transsexual people, who all have one thing in common: they came out to get down. The dance floor is in the back, complete with a stage (where the showering happens on Fridays), a small bar, red booths, and colored lights.
