This bar gets crowded after 11 pm. Maybe it’s the various live entertainment acts, which range from comedians to bands (call Mix to see what’s the entertainment act this weekend). Or maybe it’s the choice in music and music videos; flat screen TVS show music videos in the front room in front of cushy chairs and couches. The dance floor jives to its own beat, and different artists, than the music videos in the front room, but nothing too crazy; get your groove on to the likes of Fall Out Boy and Gwen Stefani. Or maybe it’s the bar food. Sure there’s the normal fare like mini burgers and French fries, but sophisticated subtleties make it feel like you’re dining in a fancy restaurant; the burgers come with sun-dried tomatoes and bleu cheese, the fries are served with truffle mayonnaise on the side. Whatever the reason is that people crowd this bar, it’s obviously a good one. The nightclub area is free during the week, but $5 cover on the weekends.
