No lying here: the beer is cheap and the bar’s daily specials will lighten your wallet while your liver will cry out in pain. That’s right, these specials are cheap and delicious: $1 PBR pints on Mondays; $2 Sierra Nevada pints on Tuesdays; $1 PBR bottles, $2 Jameson shots and $3 select cocktails on Wednesdays; $1 PBR bottles on Thursdays; and $2 Jim Beam Black shots to round out the week before heading to work the next day. This bar definitely has personality; its two floors have a KISS pinball machine, pool tables, a disco ball over the dance floor and plenty of comfy couches to socialize. There’s a $5 cover charge on the weekend, which is also when the second floor is open, but that’s when the club is at its highest energy point. Liar’s Club has had the longest running drum and bass night, proving it has a bit more edge than your typical North side bar.
